Ania Nałęcka-Milach is an award-winning photobook designer, living and working in Warsaw, Poland. Her interdisciplinary experience ranges from visual arts to printmaking, advertising, and graphic design. Her design philosophy and method are based on axiom that book form conveys and extends visual storytelling. She believes that designing a photobook is far more about creation of experience for viewer/reader than creating an object as such. She has been working with photographers and institutions from all over the world and her total project count approximates 100 books. Photobooks designed by her were acknowledged by contests such as Les Rencontres d’Arles Book Awards, Paris Photo / Aperture Foundation Photobook Award, Kassel Dummy Award, PhotoEspaña, POYi The Best Photography Book Award, Art Books Wanted International Award and others.
