Hubert Humka (b. 1983) | based in Warsaw, Poland | graduate of and lecturer at the Łódź Film School’s Photography faculty | interested in mockumentary and searching for authenticity in photography | his works have been exhibited during numerous international photo festivals, including Les Rencontres d’Arles (2012 and 2013), Transphotographiques (2014), Fotofestiwal Łódź (2016) and Białystok Interphoto Festival (2015), among others | finalist of Prix Voies Off Sélections 2013 at the Les Rencontres d’Arles Off Festival (France) and Photo Diploma Award 2013 (Poland) | author of the books: Evil Man (Łódź: Łódź Film School Press, 2014) and Death Landscapes (Warsaw: BLOW UP PRESS, 2018), recognised as the Best Photographic Publication in Poland in 2018 (Fotopolis & Digital Camera Polska plebiscite) and nominated to the Prix Bob Calle du livre d'artiste (France, 2019).
